Your organization dashboard is a real-time snapshot of your volunteer program. It refreshes live as volunteers RSVP, log hours, and submit reflections.
Default widgets
- Key metrics — average hours, engagement rate, active volunteers and volunteer retention.
- Hours awaiting verification and join requests — appear only when something needs you.
- Requirements progress and the verification pipeline — who's on pace, and where hours stand.
- Hours over time, volunteer growth and mood trend — how your program is changing month to month.
- Top, inactive and recent volunteers — who to thank, who to check in with, and what just happened.
Customize your dashboard
- 1
Click Customize
It's at the top of your dashboard, next to New Event.
- 2
Arrange your cards
Drag a card by its handle to move it. Each card's menu lets you resize it, hide it, or remove it.
- 3
Add widgets
Click Add widget to bring back a built-in card or build your own custom metric.
- 4
Click Done
Your layout is saved for you. Cancel throws your changes away.
Your changes only affect your own dashboard. Owners and managers can also click Save as org default to set the starting layout for every admin who hasn't customized theirs. Reset to org default brings yours back in line.
Filtering your dashboard
Use the date range picker at the top to zoom into a specific period. If you have volunteer groups set up, the Group filter lets you scope every widget to a single group (e.g., 'NHS Members' or 'Weekend Crew').
Create a volunteer group for each program or team, then filter the dashboard by group. You'll see isolated metrics without noise from other programs.
A dropping retention rate is an early warning. If fewer volunteers are returning, dig into mood trends and recent event feedback before the problem grows.
